William "Pete" Franklin Howell, age 80, of Kingston passed away Monday, March 16, 2026, at Renaissance Terrace in Harriman.  He was born April 14, 1945, in Kingston and has been a lifelong resident of Roane County. He was of the Baptist faith.  Pete retired from Fox Den where he had worked as a Greens Keeper.  He loved spending time with his grandchildren and his special fur baby friend, Buddy. Pete had a deep love for basketball and was an avid Tennessee football and basketball fan.  Preceded in death by his parents, William Buck & Viola Mae Moore Howell; brother, Boyd Howell; sisters, Willette Breazeale, Mary Woods, Jo Forrester, and Louise Webb.
