Wanda Boatright

Wanda Lene Boatright, age 78, of Ten Mile passed away Friday, February 12, 2021 in Richmond, Kentucky where she was making her home with her loving son and daughter-in-law after the passing of her husband in 2020.  She was born September 10, 1942 in Bell County, Kentucky and was the eldest child of six, marrying Stacy Boatright on November 9, 1963 and together, they had one child.  Wanda worked in retail in Michigan until she moved to Ten Mile, Tennessee in 1995.  She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Kingston and enjoyed attending as long as her health permitted.  Preceded in death by her husband, Stacy Boatright; mother, Twila (Berry) Daniels; father, Boyd Daniels; and younger brother, Jerry Daniels.  Wanda was a ray of light to everyone she met and will be missed greatly by all who knew her.

Survived by her only son, Terry Boatright; daughter-in-law & special caregiver, Donna Boatright, who cared for Wanda as if she was her own mother, in their home, until her passing; two granddaughters, Nicole (Matt) Allison of Indiana, PA & Tera Boatright of Caro, MI; 5 great-grandchildren, Emily, Lucas, Hayden, Braxton, and Boone; 1 brother, Kenny Daniels (Marlene); 3 sisters, Joanne Martin, Barbara Sapp, Thelma Pettingill; special care givers, Anne, Michelle, and Savannah; special friend to the Boatright family, Starlin Yates; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

The family received friends Monday, February 15, 2021 at Fraker Funeral Home and funeral service followed in the chapel.  Burial was held Thursday, February 18, 2021 at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Knoxville.  Online register book can be signed at www.FrakerFuneralHome.net .  Fraker Funeral Home of Kingston is honored to serve the Boatright family.
