Victor Earl Bond Jr., age 76, of Kingston, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville. He was born August 21, 1948 in Huntington, Alabama. After graduating from high school Victor joined the United States Air Force and served his country proudly receiving several citations and medals including the National Defense Service Medal and Air Force Outstanding Unit Award. He has been a resident of Roane County since 1989. He retired from TVA after 25 years where he had worked as a Fossil Operator. Among his many accomplishments, Victor became a certified scuba diver and also a licensed pilot. He also enjoyed working on cars as long as his health permitted. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Brooke Bond; and brother, Rick Bond.
He is survived by two sons, Harold Alan Bond of Chattanooga and Victor Earl Bond III of Knoxville; grandchildren, Harold Alan Bond Jr., Nisa Leigh Bond, and Christian James Bond; sister, Mary Buttram & husband, Jim of Chattanooga; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members; special friends, Missy & Robert Armstrong of Kingston, Richard & Beth Christianson of Kingston, and Shelly Pelfrey McMahan of Knoxville.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and will be announced as soon as the information becomes available. Online register book can be signed at www.FrakerFuneralHome.net. Fraker Funeral Home of Kingston is in charge of all the arrangements.
