Stanley Joe Hammock age 81, passed away in January 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of laughter, service, and love. Born in 1944, Stanley proudly served his country in both the United States Army and the United States Air Force. He carried the values of honor, respect, and teamwork throughout his life and was known for his easy smile, sharp wit, and willingness to help others.
He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara of 60 years, two children, Marcy and Mark, three grandchildren, and two siblings, all of whom will continue to celebrate his life and legacy.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm, Friday, January 30, 2026, at Fraker Funeral Home. Full military honors will be conducted by the Roane County Memorial Honor Guard, and a celebration of Stanley's life will immediately follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Pat Summitt Foundation in his memory. He lived fully, loved deeply, and will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
