Robert “Bob” P. Centner, age 72, of Harriman passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at his residence.  He was born November 24, 1949 in Canastota, New York.  He was a United States Army veteran who served his country proudly during the Vietnam War, making his home in Alaska where he loved salmon fishing.  Bob enjoyed hunting also.  After his service in the military, he worked for the postal service in Alaska, before moving back to Tennessee in 2016.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Everett & Frances Plumbley Centner; brothers, David James Centner and Everett Centner, Jr.; sisters, Patricia Marie Centner and Beverly Centner Brady.

The family will receive friends 11:00 – 12:00 noon, Thursday, December 15, 2022 in the chapel of Fraker Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life following the visitation at 12:00 p.m., with Rev. Randy Griffis officiating.  Military honors will be conducted by the Roane County Honor Guard.  Online register book can be signed at www.FrakerFuneralHome.net .  Fraker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
