Robert Duane Bowker, age 87, of Kingston, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at his residence with his daughter, Tammy by his side.  He was born January 14, 1938 in La Porte, Indiana.  He attended Morrison Hill Christian Church in Kingston as long as his health permitted.  Bob served his country proudly from 1955 – 1958 in the United States Marine Corp.  He and his wife, Alberta owned and operated Spring City Motel for about 20 years and made a career in the Hospitality industry. He had also worked for Alice Chalmers from 1973-1983 in La Porte, Indiana.   Bob later worked for TVA as a Welder and was a member of Carpenters Local No. 50.  He enjoyed traveling many over the road miles as a commercial truck escort for T & M Transportation.  He enjoyed traveling from the East Coast to the West Coast with his wife in their motorhome. They had visited many states and countries during their lifetime.  Preceded in death by his precious wife Alberta Bowker; stepson, Roger Allen Golden; parents, Harold Edward & Ruth Burl Thompson Bowker; Brothers, Arlan and Phillip Bowker; sister, Eula Bennett.
