Marian Jones

Marian Elizabeth Jones, 83, of Kingston, went to her Heavenly Home on January 29, 2021.  She was a loving Mother of 3, Grandmother of 7, Great-Grandmother of 7, Aunt of many nieces/nephews and Sister-In-Law.  Marian was of the Methodist Faith. 

She was born in Williamsport, PA on December 14, 1937.  At the age of 8 her family moved to Tucson, AZ where she met her Husband, of 58 years,Paul H. Jones, Jr. Paul and Marian moved to Tennessee in 1993 during the blizzard to join their daughter, Stacy A. McCoy and her family after Paul retired from the Surprise Arizona Sheriff’s Department.  They opened a Donut Business in Kingston, but eventually moved the business to Maryville, TN.

Marian retired as an Electrical Tech for Honeywell where she built motherboards for many appliances, HVAC Systems, etc. She was a baker for their Donut Business, but her most fulfilling job was being a Foster Mom for a Group Home for teenage boys that they operated for several years in Phoenix, AZ.  She enjoyed sewing, reading, knitting, crocheting, and ceramics.

Marian is preceded in death by her husband, Paul H. Jones, Jr.; her Father, Lewis P. Fetzer; her Mother, Theresa Fetzer; her youngest Son, Paul H. Jones, III; her Brothers, Lewis P. Fetzer, Jr., William Fetzer; her Sisters, Beatrice Hill, Bonalyn Aragon, and Mary Louise Greene; her Father-in-law, Paul H. Jones; Mother-in-law, LaVerta Russell Jones; and Son-in-law, Glenn R. McCoy.

Survivors include her oldest Son Richard L. Jones of Tucson, AZ.; her Daughter, Stacy A. McCoy; her Grandchildren Jeremy L. McCoy (Beth) of Rockwood, TN, Mischa Williams (Robert) of Tucson, AZ, Desiree W. McCoy of Kingston, TN, Rachel E. McCoy (Jocelyn) of Conroe, TX, Zachary Jones of Tucson, AZ., Mary Ann Jones (Jon Michael) and Dydema Jones (Nathan) of Maryville, TN; 7 Great Grandchildren Brooklyn, Sedona, Haley, Marilyn, Ricki, Luke and Josie. Many
Nieces, Nephews, and In-Laws.

The family, at Marian’s request, have chosen to have her Cremated.  In lieu of Flowers, if you would like to contribute to the Marian E. Jones Final Expenses Fund please contact her daughter, Stacy A. McCoy.  Fraker Funeral Home of Kingston in charge of all the arrangements.
