Kathryn "Kathy" Mount Obituary

On June 21,2025 Kathryn Ann Mount was called to Heaven by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  She was a Christian woman and a member of Union Chapel Baptist Church for many years in the Union Community of Kingston, TN.  Her community held a special place in her heart!  Many of the families in the area have been there for generations and knew Mom from childhood. They enjoyed many Sunday dinners and long evening porch talks in the summer.  She had a special impact on those in the Union Community.

Kathy had over 30+ years of loyal service in the Roane County Government where she spent the 25+ years of that service as a Judicial Magistrate.  She was a hard worker who was proud of her position and always wanted to serve Roane County well.  She was fortunate to develop and nurture many close friendships throughout her tenure and was admired in her profession.  She had a special way of kindly telling the truth whether that’s what you wanted to hear or not!  We are thankful for those co-workers and friends through the years at Roane County.

Her most prized joy in this earthly life was her two sons, Joshua (Ketrin) and Jonathan (Laura) Mount and her five beautiful grandchildren:  Thomas Jackson Mount, Alta Rose Mount, Orry Mae Mount, Duncan Cooper Mount and Declan Graham Mount. She would spend countless hours talking to her family, watching ballgames, gymnastic meets, dance recitals and graduations. She loved her family with an undying passion and they loved her.

Mom was a woman who loved big and you could feel it when she gave you those warm hugs and big smiles! Our Momma will always be in our hearts until we see her in Heaven again one day.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents:  Bob and Mildred Snow of Kingston, TN.

She had 3 siblings:     Larry Snow (Gloria) of Kingston, TN
Jerry Snow (Brenda) of Knoxville, TN
Rita Snow Johnson of Kingston, TN
