Hazel Pauline Pierce, age 83, of Kingston, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Harriman Care & Rehab Center. She was born April 7, 1929 in Kingston and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting and was an avid gardener who loved canning, as well as cooking the many things she harvested. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Pierce; parents, James & Sarah Adcox Crowe; brothers, Walter Crowe, Ernest Crowe, Artie Crowe; sisters, Ethel Brezeale, Harriett Ragsdale, Vida Adcox and Elizabeth Crowe. SURVIVORS Son David Pierce of Kingston Granddaughters Shannon & Tim Bolden, Carly & Matt Harrison, Kayla Pierce, all of Kingston Great-grandsons Timothy & Paul Bolden, Reed Cade & Knox Harrison, all of Kingston Brother Albert & Hazel Crowe of Rockwood Sisters Verna Humphrey of Whittier, NC Brother-in-law Alvin & Becky Pierce of Kingston Sisters-in-law Carolyn & Buddy Koon of Kingston Shirley Medley of St. Petersburg, FL Betty Ladd, Juanita Pierce, Kathleen Hensley & Mattie Lou Pierce, all of Kingston Patsy Pierce & Peggy Henley of Rockwood Imogene & Robert Isham of Smyrna, GA A host of extended family & friends including special nieces, Linda Townsend, Helen Wright and Peggy Littleton. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Monday, November 5, 2012 at Southwest Point Baptist Church with Rev. Neil Crass, Rev. Jeff Plemons, Rev. Ray Bearden and Rev. Larry Bolden officiating.
