Harley Laverne McNeal
March 4, 1961 - December 24, 2025

Known to many as “Mr. Vern”, his gentle presence would speak far more than his few words. Harley Laverne lived life to the fullest with his loving wife of many beautiful years, Michelle. Together they share three daughters: Christina & Cody, Mackenzie & Kent, and Harley & Kaedyn Malachi; and since becoming a PopPop in 2013, his greatest joy has been his grandchildren: Tristan, Elianna, Elowyn, Remington, Titus, and Tymber.
Laverne was born to Walter and Mary McNeal in Jacksonville, Florida. He grew up with his four siblings: Walter “Bunny” & Ginny, Mary, David, and Howard & Kellie. He loved being and was, an amazing uncle to: Terry, Bobby, Eric, Stacy, Amy, David, Timothy, and Jerod.
