Dorothy Jean Stone, age 76, of Etowah passed away Friday, November 28, 2025 at Decatur Health and Wellness Center in Decatur. She was born June 7, 1949 in Erie, Tennessee to the late Anthony and Rosa Lee Hall and was of the Baptist faith. Dorothy enjoyed making beautiful quilts as long as her health permitted. Along with her parents, Dorothy is also preceded in death by her husband, John David Stone; son, Mark Stone; siblings, Yevonne Trew, Larry Hall, Harlin Hall, Clifford Hall, Philip Hall; sister-in-law, Patricia Hall.
