Deborah Lynn Humphreys, age 71, of Kingston, passed away suddenly Friday, May 8, 2026 at Roane Medical Center in Harriman.  Although she survived many surgeries and facing more in the near future, she was a fighter who kept going bravely forward. She loved her animals, bird watching and nature in general.  She also enjoyed gardening, especially home-grown tomatoes.  Deborah had worked as a secretary for several years for the government at UCORE in Oak Ridge.  Preceded in death by her mother, Helen Schubert; father, Buddy Rucker; and sister, Vicki Woods.
