Daniel William Clayborne Jr., age 71, of Kingston, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2025.  He was born May 5, 1954 in Oliver Springs.  Danny was the fourth child born to Daniel & Jean Clayborne.  Danny worked for the City of Kingston in the Water Utility Department as a Field Technician and backhoe operator.

Preceded in death by his father, Daniel Clayborne; mother, Jean Clayborne; and siblings, Patricia Ann Stepp, Betty Jean Herrell, and Lewis McKinley Clayborne.

Danny is survived by his son, Daniel Scott Clayborne; wife, Candy Clayborne; son, Cody Daniel Clayborne; siblings, Bobbie Ellen Tipton, Tommy Jack Clayborne, and Dorothy Marie Bass; along with many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Graveside service will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Mars Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tim Ramey officiating.  Those wishing to go in procession should be at Fraker Funeral Home at 10:45 am.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Fraker Funeral Home to help with burial expenses.
