Alvin Walden Obituary

Alvin Don Walden, age 75, of Ten Mile passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2025 after a lengthy illness.  He was born July 31, 1950 in Meigs County to the late Rev. J.D. Walden & Lena Walden.  He is also preceded in death by his sons, Alvin Delon Walden and Shawn Ray Walden.  He was of the Baptist faith and was a wonderful prayer warrior. He & his wife lived in Oklahoma for eight years working on gas wells.  He moved back to Roane County and worked for Mike Colyer as a mechanic.  He also enjoyed working in the sawmill. Some of his favorite times were those spent at Renfro Grocery talking to people.
